winIDEA: Installation guide

winIDEA IDE is available on Microsoft  Windows and Linux platforms.

The version for Windows is available as a download link. It is offered in two versions:

  • Installer Edition
  • Portable Version

To get started with winIDEA on Linux you can use the Snap package and ensure that winIDEA is always up-to-date with minimal effort. However, if you need to run multiple versions of winIDEA in parallel, Docker is the perfect solution:
