Since AURIX is a highly security-oriented device, it is by default not possible to apply the debug password at any time, but rather only in a very short period of time after a Power on, Application or System reset.
This fact is very important when dealing with Application and System resets since they are not visible to the debugger.
winIDEA automatically and continuously polls the device for application and system resets. This allows it to detect these events quickly and initiate the attach process early enough, without requiring your intervention.
Because successful polling relies on fast communication, a high DAP clock speed is strongly recommended. You can adjust it in Hardware | CPU Options | SoC.
This process will not work on older products (iC5000) or slower debug protocols (JTAG, DXCPL).
