TASKING compiler toolsets are officially supported on Linux.
However, a license purchased for Windows cannot be used to activate the product on Linux, and vice versa. Hence, separate licenses are required.
To install the compiler on Linux:
1. Download the GNU zipped tar file (e.g., <Product-Code><version>.tar.gz) for your product.
2. Open a terminal and extract the installation archive to the desired installation directory (for example, /opt):
tar xzvf <Product-Code><version>.tar.gz -C /opt3. Configure your license as described in the Licensing section of the product-specific Getting Started guide. For example, see Licensing.
