If you need to move your license to a new server, submit a request to Technical support with the details of the new server.
1. Copy the FlexLM Server Tools from the existing license server to the new server.
2. On the new server, run:
This generates a .info file containing the new server information.
3. Send the generated .info file with your server change request, and include your Customer ID (CUSTID).
If you are unable to copy the FlexLM Server Tools from the existing server, contact Technical support and request a new download link.
Once the request has been processed, you will receive:
These files will be configured for the new server.
Follow the steps in Installing a network license to install and configure the License Server on the new machine.
After the new License Server has been configured:
1. Update all client machines with the new Toolsuite.ctl file.
2. Update the LDRA_LICENSE_FILE environment variable to point to the new License Server.
Once these changes have been made, clients will obtain licenses from the new server.
