Updating SFRs takes a considerable time

In some cases, an update of the SFRs in winIDEA can take tens of seconds. Therefore, it is recommended to create a custom SFR group with the SFRs of interest. With a custom SFR window, you can:

• Manage a large number of SFRs via a custom SFR window
• Monitor specific SFRs through the Watch window

Configuration steps

1. Select View | Debug | SFRs | New Custom SFR and give it a meaningful name. 

2. Drag and drop an item from the main SFR window to the new custom SFR window:

• SFR group
• standalone SFR
• sub-register SFR
