In certain network situations, BlueBox will not automatically receive an IP address. In such cases, it is possible to set a fixed IP address manually.
To set up the TCP/IP-Connection manually the BlueBox will need to be connected temporarily to the development PC via a USB cable.
1. Connect BlueBox to the development PC via the USB cable.
2. Turn on the BlueBox.
3. Select the communication type USB in Hardware | Debugger Hardware | Communication.
4. Test the communication.
5. Open Hardware | Debugger Hardware again and click System Configuration.
6. The option Obtain IP address automatically should be unchecked.
7. Key in your chosen fixed IP address manually.
8. Press Apply changes and test the connection on the Communication page.
If winIDEA displays that the IP address is incorrect, check if the checkmark is set to USB on the Communication page.
