Windows 7: Cabinet file corrupted

During the installation of the USB driver, a pop-up window appears:

"A file that is required cannot be installed because the cabinet file *.cab has an invalid digital signature. This may indicate that the cabinet file is corrupt."


Possible solution

Install Service pack 1 and KB3033929 + KB4474419 updates. This will enable SHA-2 code signing support, which is required to install a USB driver.
