Registry clean-up

Possible solution:

1. Turn off all BlueBoxes connected to the PC.

2. Open the Registry Editor as an administrator.

3. Navigate to the Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\USB\ and expand the folder. Inside that folder is a list of PIDs which are available.

4. All the keys that start with VID_06F9&PID belong to BlueBoxes. The string at the end identifies the type of the BlueBox:

• VID_06F9&PID_3010 belongs to the IC3000 BlueBox
• VID_06F9&PID_3020 belongs to the IC3000GT BlueBox
• VID_06F9&PID_3200 belongs to the IC5000 BlueBox
• VID_06F9&PID_5700 belongs to the IC5700 BlueBox

5. Delete all entries that belong to BlueBoxes. In case entries cannot be deleted then either you don’t have the permissions to do so or group policies do not allow you do delete them. 

Clean the flags as well:

1. Open the Registry Editor again and expand the Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\usbflags folder.

2. Check, if there are still some remaining keys that start with 06F9.

3. Right click on all such entries and select delete.

4. Reboot the machine.

5. When you log-in back to Windows, turn on the BlueBox and it should be enumerated automatically by Windows (winUSB driver is used).

6. Open the Device Manager and you should get a device listed under Universal Serial Bus devices, e.g. iC5700 (SN 12345).
